Hello,
I just installed the latest version (2.4.19.46) and performed a check.

The results have been very strange (not to say completely inaccurate)...

My website is www.baracca.ch and for the keyword "baracca" it showd me a rank of 5. WHen I manually checked in google, tha effective rank was 1 ! what could be the reason for this ? (the former version I had showed much better results).

Hello,
I guess you mean "search the web" vs "search the country".
In my manual check I have been searching the web, not the country.

Only, when I'm entering the www.google.com URL it forwards me to www.google.ch (since I'm in Switzerland). I hope that this is not a difference (still in the former version of "FreeGoogleMonitor" I had good results).

If you search the web in google.ch with French language, your site is 5th:
http://www.google.ch/search?hl=fr&q=baracca&meta=
The same way, but in German it is 1st:
http://www.google.ch/search?hl=de&q=baracca&meta=
With google.com, English language, it is 7th:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=baracca&meta=

The results also may be slightly affected by your IP address. There were no any changes in the switzerland google module of the newest version so it works for me the same way as the old one.
