Today I`ve done this update.
Since today everythink was OK, positions in Google Was exactly the same in GFM and same Google.
Today, after update, there is something wrong. My posiotions fails, 8-10 positions. I think, now Google Free Monitors count "maps", in older versions it didn`t.
1) Can somebody tell me if I can check some box to "not count" maps?
2) Can somebody make update with this check box?
3) Please give me link to older version  |

Map results may or may not be included into the organic results. This depends on how Google represents map and other type of results in the SERPs. It can blend map results into organic results, or show map results as a standalone block. In the first case Free Monitor for Google does consider map results as organic, in the second case - it does not.
Of course, you may think map results are not true results and they must not be shown, but many other webmasters think the opposite. Also, if a customer seeks for a local solution and finds some map results shown to him - why whould he ignore them? These are results too, after all. |
